The UK
Corporate Governance Group is a Linked In virtual community for
professionals working in the changing UK Corporate Governance
environment.
A key aim of
the group is to network and share our experiences of best practice in
board effectiveness, board performance and corporate social
responsibility.
With the
current economic outlook, the group is also focussed on management of
board risk during commercially challenging times.

The IoD publishes some very good books on
Corporate Governance.
We
highly recommend The Directors’ Handbook. The second edition of this
book has been updated to reflect the new Companies Act 2006. The IoD’s
